The idea for Personal Leisure Learning is simple: we know a lot of amazing women who know how to do lots of really interesting things, and we wanted to take the opportunity to learn from them.

The group meets once a month, and each month is hosted by a different member. The host provides a space to meet and spends a couple of hours teaching the group a skill or a new set of information. The group has a wide variety of talents, so each month is something new and exciting.

This website was set up as place to make announcements about upcoming events as well as a way to share information and resources about the various skills we have learned.

The main page (this one) will be used for announcements and general questions about the group. Each skill will have an individual page that will be maintained by the person who taught that skill. The individual pages will include any notes and information about the skill, pictures from the meeting, and links to other resources. Group members are encouraged to post questions, pictures, and success stories to these pages.
